Sean John Clothing Owner to Become Next Billionaire!

This may not come as a surprise to many of you, but according to Forbes magazine the sean john clothing designer Sean "diddy"Combs is projected to become the first hip hop entertainer to the Forbes 400 list. The business savvy that "Diddy" has shown over the years is no doubt the reason why he is leading the race to be the top guy in hip hop.

To start the list of Diddy created Bad Boy Records.   (later changed to Bad Boy Entertainment) This label has boasted one of the greatest line ups of any recording label. From Craig Mac, to Biggie, and Faith. Then Mary J Blidge, 112, the list goes on and on. This was, and still is the foundation of Combs' success and through his ability top artist such as Rick Ross, it shows he continues to have a clear grasp on the pulse of hip hop.

In 1998 Combs launched the popular Sean John clothing line. To date very few brands have seen the success,  or longevity that this brand has seen, and since since signing the deal with Macys its apparent that most brands probably never will. It is important to add that this brands has a multi million dollar profit each year and is a large reason why he is heading the list.

Next up comes the endorsement deal with Ciroc Vodka. This was a brand that no one had heard of and that wasn't really selling in pre diddy era. Diddy was approached to endorse the brand in return for part ownership. Now everyone knows the name Ciroc and equate it with Sean Combs, and if the vodka company ever decides to sell, it may be just what is needed to tip the scales in the Bad Boys direction.

In late 2008 Sean John made another great deal when it purchased dieing label Enyce from Liz Claibourne and seperated himself from many of the other urban clothing brands. This was around the time he was being called "Black Buffet" in reference to his ability to purchase business and make them exceed like Warren Buffet. A few years later it appears that these words are proving to be prophetic.
