Common - Blue Sky (video)

The news that Common's next album (The Dreamer, The Believer) was going to feature exclusively No ID production could help to get any fan of his old work excited. This single seems to suggest that he is over whatever brain-fart produced Universal Mind Control, so the signs are that the LP (which is scheduled to drop in December) could see a welcome return to top form for Common.

NEWS: U.S.D.A. (@USDA2DAY) Tracklist For "The After Party" LP Revealed

Young Jeezy & USDA are releasing an album on SMC Recordings November 15th. The album is titled The After Party and it’s the second USDA project to hit store shelves. An album cover for the project is yet to be released, but the official tracklist for the CD has already made it’s way online. The album will feature sixteen tracks and the first single from the project will be “Outta Here“. After the jump check out Jizzle and his cliques tracklist for The After Party, which is a follow up to their debut album Cold Summer.

R. Kelly has denied involvement in an alleged $130,000 tour ticket scam. The singer has been accused of profiting from a fraud in South Africa after a local woman,

Busiswe Zakwe, was arrested on suspicion of swindling investors. It is claimed she promised them they would benefit from ticket sales if they brought an R. Kelly tour to the country in 2005. The concerts never happened, but Zakwe allegedly kept the money and deposited some of it into the star's bank account. But the singer denies any knowledge of the incident, and insists he doesn't even know who Zakwe is.

Method Man – All I Need (Demo Version)

Man oh man. Remember this classic? Ofcourse you do. Well, before the final version with MJB was layed down Method Man recorded a demo version. A whole different vibe, one verse from Meth with two females talking that sexy stuff before and after. This is exactly the purpose of a demo record, Meth recorded it and after a few listens and MJB’s opinion the record was then transformed into the classic we know it as now and went on too live on Meth’s 1994 album “Tical”. I love when stuff like this pops up out the vault, it gives you more of an insight into how records are created. Anything Meth related and I am down.
